I was very excited to try this in my quest for a new cleanser. It came it in a discovery kit of 6 Laneige items. They are the broke girls Amore Pacific. The wonderful K-Beauty brand. Actually the same company. This is their less expensive brand. I thought it was about time to try it out after gazing at AmorePacific from a far. Sephora had the Laneige hydration trial kit.
First thing I tried was the cleanser. It sucked my face off. This cleanser is going to remove any trace of oil. I have dry skin so this was not even close to appropriate for my skin. I might consider using this when removing a thick layer of sunscreen. But then I will slather on the Argan oil.
They sell it as Multi-Action, 4-in-1 formula. Melts away makeup, rinses away sunscreen, gently exfoliates with natural papaya, thoroughly cleanses for brighter fresher-feeling skin. So says the back of the bottle.
I don’t think anything has ever made my skin feel so dry in my life. If you have oily really skin go nuts this is probably great for you. Combination skin would want to stay away. This stuff is serious. I will use it to remove the fantastic Shiseido sport water proof sunscreen I use in the summer while playing beach volleyball. Removing that stuff takes several washings with normal soap. Other than that it will sit in the guest room bath kit in case a visitor can make use of it.
Thank goodness for discovery kits. I have only 1 fluid ounce of this to try and make some use out of. A reason I love Sephora is their fantastic return policy and the fact that they make you samples.
